If you do not love the truth, this will happen to you (verses 10-12 above). Many people believe that the first thing you have to do to be saved is believe that Yahushua is the Mashiach (Anointed or Christ). This is not completely true. The FIRST thing you have to do is have a love of the truth. If you do not love the truth, you will never believe the truth that He is Master.

Those who follow the commandments of man (the lie) instead of the commandments of our Yahuwah Creator (the law AND the truth) are doomed to hear the words of verse 23, above, from Yahushua. They think that by saying the sinner's prayer (man's commandment) that they have been saved, yet the word of our Eloah says no such thing. Look carefully in the Scripture for anything that says you must ask Him to come into your heart and/or that is when you are washed in His blood as stated by the advocates of the sinner's prayer. Let me know if you find it. I haven't and I have searched diligently. These people think they are Christians and will even protest that they have done wonderful things in His name, yet He still rejects them because they are NOT part of His body.

If you think that the Scripture is true then you must believe all of it. If you believe that His commandments are in that scripture you must be willing to obey them or be deemed a liar (1 Yahuchanan [John] 2:4-5). It is on HIS terms that we enter the kingdom, and not on ours. Satan, as the elohiym of this world, will keep you from seeing the truth in the scripture by blinding your eyes to it if you do not have a sincere desire to know it (verse 3 and 4 above). This effort coupled with the delusions sent to you because you do not love the truth will ensure your journey to the lake of fire after the judgment (Revelation 20:13-15).

The "Romans Road to Salvation" that so many think leads you into the kingdom shows a deep ignorance and lack of understanding of the scripture. If these people were rightly dividing the word of truth, they would realize that the epistle to the Romans was written to immersed believers (even says so in the salutation) and not to the lost, so it is a little too far down the road to apply to those seeking salvation. This letter (as do all of them through Yahudah [Jude) tells us how to do the things necessary to learn and grow as part of the body and not how to become part of that body. To see how to become a member of the body of Yahushua, read the book of Acts. To see why you need to become a member of the body of Yahushua, read the gospels. To see why the gospels say what they say, read the law, prophets, the writings, and the songs. Learn to rightly divide the word of truth and many problems of misunderstanding the scripture will go away.
