Do you want to go to Heaven?

What and Where It Is

This article is for those who consider themselves to be "Christians." If you do not believe that Yahushua is the Son of our Eloah, whose name is Yahuwah, it will probably be of no interest to you, as you are in a state of no hope anyway. If that is your state, and you wish to hear the words of life, email one of the brothers found in the link Contact Us on the menu bar above, and such as we have, we will share with you.

To those who consider themselves to be "Christian," very probably you have been told all of your life that when you die you would go to "heaven" and be with "Jesus." To be with Him you first have to pass "Saint Peter's" scrutiny at the "pearly gates" (sometimes golden gates and sometimes after you climb some golden stairs). Many people think that after that they will turn into an "angel" with wings sprouting out of their shoulders, be handed a harp to play, and be relegated to a cloud somewhere to play that harp for eternity.

If you believe that stuff in the preceding paragraph, then you haven't been studying the Word of Yahuwah. Those words are pure fabrications of Satan, made up for the sole purpose of distracting and diverting people like yourself from the truth disseminated by his slaves. I now ask you where is the place you really want to be after this life is over?

If you did believe that garbage before and now see them for what they are, you probably have now changed your answer to "in Heaven with Jesus." Nice try, but, sorry. That won't do either.

Unhappily, this place people think of as "Heaven" is not "Heaven." The words translated as "heaven" in the Ibriy (Hebrew) and Greek texts of the Sacred Scripture literally and actually mean "the sky." That is the general direction of His location, but He is not just "in the sky."

Well, if that statement is true, just where is He then? Where is the throne of Yahuwah? How about the tree of life, and the streets of gold? If they are not in "heaven" where are they? More importantly, where will you really go, if you're in the body of Yahushua (see Acts 2:38 on how to get there, and Rhomaios [Romans] 6:ALL to see why), when you meet the death of this body?

The only way to answer questions relating to the Sacred Scripture, is to go to the Sacred Scripture and let them answer for themselves. The Sacred Word of Yahuwah is where all the answers reside, regardless of the question. But we must be very careful to seek the truth of the scripture as our answer, and not something in the scripture to support our preconceived idea of what the answer is, or what we want the answer to be. Then, when we find the correct answer, we must believe it. If we are truly going to be followers of Yahushua and therefore children of Yahuwah, we have to accept everything He said and not just the parts we like and want to accept. And He did say a lot of things that a lot of people have a hard time accepting. But that's the way it is. All or Nothing.

When Yahushua was hanging on the tree (stauroo - a post or stake as set upright in the ground), He said the following to one of the thieves being "impaled" after the fellow acknowledged Him as who He was.

Loukas (Luke) 23:43 And Yahushua said to him, "Assuredly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in the Paradise."

The delegate Sha'uwl (Paul), talking about a person that he did not identify, had some things to say about that fellow's experience, how that he was caught up into paradise and heard unspeakable words which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (2 Korinthios [Corinthians] 12:4)

Yahuchanan (John) said, under the influence of the messenger of Yahushua, these words of Yahushua concerning those that overcome this world.

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him that overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life that is in the midst of the paradise of Yahuwah. (Revelation 2:7)

Notice that all of these call the place paradise. Especially, when Yahushua said that the thief would be with Him there. Now, that's where I want to be. In paradise, with my Master and Savior, Yahushua the Anointed. How about you?

Now we know that Yahushua said He was going to the paradise of Yahuwah, what else can we learn about this wonderful place?

In the midst of the street of it and on either side of the river there was the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits and yielded its fruit every month, and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelation 22:2)

Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14)

Now we also know that the tree of life is there. Read the following and you'll see that this is the place that you have heard of that is called "heaven" by so many people. Notice that the throne of Yahuwah is there and so is the river of life, streets of gold, gates of pearl, etc. This is the place to go to be with Yahushua (our Eloah and Savior).

And I heard a great voice out of the sky saying, "Behold! The tabernacle of Yahuwah is with men and He will dwell with them and they shall be His people and Yahuwah Himself shall be with them and be their Eloah. And Yahuwah shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away." And He that sat on the throne said, "Behold! I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." And He said to me, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to him that is thirsty of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcomes shall inherit all things and I will be his Eloah and he shall be My son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death." And there came to me one of the seven messengers that had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues and talked with me saying, "Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain and showed me that great city, the Sacred Yeruwshalom, descending out of the sky from Yahuwah, having the splendor of Yahuwah, and its light was like a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal, and had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written thereon, that are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra'el. On the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve delegates of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and the gates of it, and the wall of it. And the city lies foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth. And he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall of it, a hundred forty four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the messenger. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire,; the third a chalcedony, the fourth an emerald, The fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolyte, the eighth beryl, the ninth a topaz, the tenth a chrysoprasus, the eleventh a jacinth, the twelfth an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each gate was of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple there for the Master Yahuwah Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it, for the splendor of Yahuwah lit it and the Lamb is the light of it. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it and the kings of the earth bring their sp[lendor and honor into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day, for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the splendor and honor of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defiles, neither whatever works abomination, or makes a lie, but they that are written in the Lamb's book of Life. And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of Yahuwah and of the Lamb. In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, there was the tree of life that bore twelve manner of fruits and yielded its fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And there shall be no more curse but the throne of Yahuwah and of the Lamb shall be in it and His servants shall serve Him, and they shall see His face, and His name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there and they need no candle, neither light of the sun, for the Sovereign Yahuwah gives them light and they shall reign forever and ever. (Revelation 21:3 - 22:5)

So just where is this place? Does it have a name? It is identified as a city, but what city, and where is it?

Look back at the two verses that start Revelation 21 and the answer is there. This city is called the New Yeruwshalom (Jerusalem). It is identified as such in other places in Scripture also. It cannot be "Heaven," as it comes down out of "heaven" (the sky). Notice also that the city comes down from a NEW "heaven" (sky) and comes down to a NEW earth, because Yahuwah has destroyed the old ones, including this one on which we currently are residing.

And I saw a new sky and a new earth for the first sky and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea. And I Yahuchanan saw the pure city, new Yeruwshalom, coming down from Yahuwah out of the sky, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (Revelation 21:1-2)

So there you have it. If you are truly a child of Yahuwah, meaning you believe that Yahushua is the Son of Yahuwah, have repented (changed your way of thinking and living), and have been immersed in water for the remission of your sins, then this is the place for you. If you do not meet the preceding criteria, I would advise you to run, don't walk, to the nearest man who does meet those criteria and be immersed, washing away your sins, and calling on the name of the our Master Yahushua.
